I've tried just about everything. Plastic water bottles, metal water bottles, plastic lidded cups and more. THIS is what has been working for me! I always wanted something lidded in case of spills, but I'm finding this 14oz glass is nearly untippable!
I've been using my daily calorie tracking sheet to keep record of how many glasses per day I consume. I leave up my Excel spreadsheet all day and after eating or drinking, just fill in the blanks. You can get it here for free.
I've been maxing out around FOUR which is only about 50oz...I need to DOUBLE that. Today I've had two glasses while doing my sitting 8 minute exercises. That's an improvement. Since the "four glasses per day" pace is working for me, maybe I can just do twice. It is surprisingly easy to down 12oz (I don't fill it to the top). So for every fill-up, maybe I down the first one. I could also have a glass before my walk, right after tying my shoes.
I like to have "benchmarks" for drinking. For example, drink a glass with breakfast, lunch and dinner, that's three right there. I know it is better for digestion to NOT drink a lot with a meal, but at the moment, I'm more concerned with getting it IN me!
I'm motivated more than ever to drink water because it flushes away the fat and helps that fiber work!
