It's March 2014. I've come a long way. I have an even longer way to go. Here's what this blog is all about...

In January 2012, I got really desperate about my obesity. This may sound strange, but I was so tired of diets that I turned to God to tell me what to do instead. I started this blog as a way to keep me on track and it documents my process from Jan 2012 through Feb 2014.

In Feb 2014, I wanted to get serious about losing 100 pounds in a year. In evaluating the previous two years, I decided to start a whole new blog which is here.

As I started to press in and ask the Lord for direction in Jan 2012, I received several instructions. Over the course of a few months, I realized He had given me personal instruction in nine areas from January through May. This is what He told me:

4-Drink More Water
5-Get Up Earlier (get more sleep)
6-Count Calories (to reveal how much I was really eating)
As the Lord gave me these nine "principles", I viewed them as areas in which to be obedient. I've spent almost two years fine tuning and educating myself and laying down my own ways in exchange for His ways.

In February 2014, I sensed I was entering into a new season. I realized I had been in a "weight loss" process for two years, but hadn't kept any weight off for real change. I decided to get serious and put all these things together in order to see weight loss.
