I haven't walked in quite awhile. This morning was agony on so many levels.
Then something occurred to me...
It is SO DIFFICULT to start and stop...this is such a pattern for me...being consistently "inconsistent". Life would just be a whole lot better if I just WALKED EVERY MORNING, why do I see each day as "optional", anyways? The effort of deciding is making me weary.
Why not just GET UP EVERY MORNING at the same time!? AND WALK!?
Today the path of righteousness is right at my feet, I choose to step into Your steps, Lord, and follow You. I don't want my ways, they only reap death, You bring life.
Thank you Lord for being near to me this morning and showering me with your love and mercy. You are the source of life and giver of all good things...I want only You!

Release From Walking, Start Dancing
Hello Trachycarpus fortunei (Windmill Palm)...gorgeous!
I haven't had a salad in awhile, but today is the day.
I've been eating some things I haven't had in a looooong time. Very interesting, I don't feel super gross like I did in the past when I ate high carb foods. I think I've increased my health to a degree!
But
I don't want to settle for a degree, I want to SHRINK and be truly healthy!
I know now to stay away from tracking myself! Being Spirit-led is about living moment-by-moment, so I can leave those charts behind (unless otherwise directed)!
This morning, I sensed the Lord telling me that if I do the dancing, the walk isn't necessary, because doing both has been challenging. OK! That gives me some freedom in what to do. The dancing is AWESOME and is an incredible workout. Just finished 40 minutes. At about 37 minutes, it's like I get a second wind! I could keep going! I feel great and ready for a salad, despite the frozen mac & cheese and homemade brownies that are floating around here.
