Things He's Telling Me

December 31, 2013 In my misery, I'm turning to the Lord. I'm done doing things my way, trying to find ways around the need to die to my flesh. I know what this process of surrender is supposed to look like and I'm so grateful for a life routine that can support me in this next season.

July 26, 2013 I've been miserable. Miserable. I need to dig in and figure this out and stop thinking that I'm actually doing what I'm supposed to do. What's my next step toward obedience?

July 15, 2013 Begin again. I'm surrendering. Nothing I do works, my ideas always lead to overeating. I need to cling to the Lord and let Him do the work He wants to do and stop resisting and blocking Him. A death is in order, a death to my selfish ways.

June 3, 2013 Getting strong includes dancing...He's telling me the walk isn't necessary if I do the dancing...though of course, I'm free to do both! Excited to see what's ahead! Have NOT been surrendering dinner...

April 9, 2013 Finally surrendering dinner and my perceived right to take more than I need. Eating half of dinner is the last step in my list (besides Get Strong, which I'll be working on again now that we've moved).

January 5, 2013 I stopped asking the Lord to tell me more when I started realizing I couldn't keep up with what He was telling me! The past several months I've haven't been SURRENDERED. Thank You Lord for all You're doing! SURRENDER. ALL.

August 20, 2012 How difficult is it REALLY to drink ten glasses of water each day?

July 6, 2012: 10 glasses water per day

May 16, 2012: Eat one salad per day

May 2012 Eat half, going to start looking at food and what to eat and not eat for health

April 2012 Get Strong!
Get up earlier, go to bed earlier
Pick up the Shake Weight
Research calories, ketosis, fat and carb levels
Start counting calories, fat, carbs and protein of what I really eat for one week

March 2012 Walk more

February 2012 Eat more fiber
Drink more water
Stop eating obvious refined sugar

January 2012 Start walking to the mailbox each day

Here's what the above looks like today, two years into my process:
-Morning Rebound with YouTube Video and iTunes Playlist
-Eat Fiber One Cereal Daily
-Drink 5-16.9oz Water Bottles Daily
-No Obvious Refined Sugar (unless special occasion) or Planned Chocolate Morsel
-For 2014, 1200-1500 Daily Calories
-Get Up Earlier/Bed Earlier
-Get Strong (I'm starting to think this is for later when I need to up my exercise)
-Eat (at least) One Salad Daily (sometimes I have a hearty salad for dinner, too)
-Eat Half Dinner Serving (working on this for 2014)
-Release from Walk if Start Dancing (released to rebound instead of walk in 2013)
